I just want a fluffy all white comforter, and idk where i should go to get a decent priced one. A lot of what i found was over $100 and thats out of my price range.

I'm washing my down king size comforter in my washer and?
I've done this before but now a have a problem. The water filled up and the comforter is wet but you don't see any water in the washer. The comforter is full of air and is floating I smash it down into the water but it floats back to the top. What do I do?last time it didn't float.
I need an alternative to cleaning a "dry clean only" king size comforter!?
I didn't think this through really well. I bought a king size comforter from Macy's not too long ago and it's dry clean only. Well shortly after I bought it I got sick a head cold and used a vaporizer with Vicks in it in my bedroom. The comforter absorbed the Vicks smell and it stinks I thought I could just clean it with Dryel but their bags you're supposed to put the thing in are WAY too small. So that's out. Any suggestions on how to clean this thing? I have it scrunched into a hamper because I feel like it must be infested with my virus germs. It seems to be a silky satiny kind of material...please help. I'm not good with anything you can't just throw in the washer and I really can't stomach spending $60 to get it dry cleaned right now.I'm not tossing this thing, not going to happen. I will cough up the $60 to dry clean it before that happens. The comforter itself cost WAY more than $60 and it is absolutely beautiful. It just happens to stink at the moment.
Can I fit a king sized comforter into a queen sized quilt cover?
My quilt cover is queen sized, but when I put it on my queen sized comforter, it's as if it is three sizes too big. This isn't the only comforter I'm having this problem with, either. The quilt cover is both too long and too wide to fit the comforter properly, and wrinkles and bubbles up when it is on the comforter, especially at the head.I have tried using duvet clips to hold the comforter in place better in the quilt cover, but even when the comforter is held well in place, the cover is just too big.Can I use a king sized comforter in my queen sized quilt cover in order to find a better fit?
How can I convert a King sized comforter into two Twin sized comforters?
I'm in love with a comforter for my kids' room two boys but they are very expensive two buy two twins. So, I was wondering if I could buy a king and simply chop it into two. I looked up standard sizes and it looks like it'll be ten inches to short on the sides but I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or experiences with doing this sort of thing.
What size washer/dryer do you use to wash/dry your (king sized) comforters?
We are moving into a new home, and we will need to purchase a washer dryer. We want a top load washer and a gas dryer that will fit our king sized comforters we have 3 of them. I have asthma so we need to wash them regularly and going to a laundramat is quite expensive My current washer is too small. I do not know it's size, nor do I know the model number. It is a Hotpoint, Heavy Duty, Extra Large Capacity washer. I am thinking it is about 2.7 cu. ft.Do you think that a 3.2 cu ft washer would do the trick?? Does anyone wash their comforters at home? And if so, what cu. ft is your washer?? And what brand??I do not want to spend a fortune on these items as we have to purchase other appliances, and money will be tight Thanks much Bonni
